International Shipping and Supply Chain Management Course
The shipping industry contributes about 90 per cent in the facilitation of global trade through carriage of goods hence a catalyst to global economy. International trade business and financing would not be possible without international shipping hence, the ‘derived-demand’. Consequent to ongoing global economic reform, international shipping has assumed a new dimension to minimize costs whilst improving efficiency in maritime transport. The major aim of this course is to advance the knowledge of international shipping with supply chain economics through a logistics management approach in contemporary parlance.
